IPL, DPL & LASER HAIR REMOVAL

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light), DPL (Dynamic Pulsed Light), and Laser hair removal are all methods used for hair removal, but they differ in terms of the technology used and the specific characteristics of the light source.


IPL (Intense Pulsed Light): IPL hair removal utilizes a broad spectrum of light with various wavelengths, typically ranging from 500 to 1200 nanometers. DPL (Dynamic Pulsed Light): DPL is a technology similar to IPL that combines both laser and broadband light energy. DPL devices typically have narrower wavelength ranges compared to IPL, which may allow for more precise targeting of hair follicles. DPL is often marketed as an advanced version of IPL, but specific features and effectiveness may vary between devices.


Laser Hair Removal: Laser hair removal employs a single, concentrated wavelength of light emitted as a laser beam. The laser emits a specific color of light that is absorbed by the melanin in the hair follicles, damaging them and inhibiting hair regrowth.
